What is Nomad World?
Nomad World is a membership-based online platform that offers housing for healthcare workers. Both short and long-term. Nomad World is NOT a property management company.

Question 2

How much does it cost to list my property with Nomad World?
In order to maintain a listing active, a subscription plan is required. You can do that from just $10/month.

Question 3

Is Nomad World exclusive for healthcare workers?
Anyone can be a member of Nomad World. However, the platform is designed to meet the needs of the healthcare professionals. Such as, short-term, furnished apartments, located close to healthcare facilities.

Question 4

Can I list my property without furniture?
Yes, we recommend furnished property if you are offering monthly-based lease on your property. On the other hand, we recommend unfurnished property if you are looking for a long-term tenant. If you are open to both, maybe you should offer both options?? Up to you, landlord! we will make sure the tenant is fully aware of the conditions of your lease!

Question 5

Do I need to offer discounts to Healthcare workers?
No. Discounts to Healthcare Professional (both travelers and permanent staff) are encouraged but not mandatory! Healthcare professionals are the most responsible and reliable tenants in the community, with strong values, work ethics and financial stability.

Question 6

What is the minimum length for a lease?
1 month-lease is the minimum you can offer! Up to 12 months!! There is an option for "Custom lease" designed for summer sublease and similar situations.

Question 7

Why do I have to submit my ID and utility bill?
​Verifying identity and address is an important step in the process of renting any apartment. Nomad World will help with that! We require all applicants to provide valid government-issued identification. Additionally, we require proof of address. We take the verification process very seriously to ensure that our tenants and landlords are who they say they are, and that the properties are real and located in the address they are advertised to be. ID verification: driver's license, passport, or identification card. Followed by a clear picture of the applicant's face.  Proof of address: utility bill, bank statement, lease agreement (in case of subletting), or other official document that shows the address of the property and the name of the person advertising the property. We do not run background or credit checks on our members.  Check the Nomad Terms & Conditions to understand how your personal information is handled!

Question 8

When should I cancel my subscription?
You should cancel your subscription as soon as you found a tenant and signed a lease with them. If you cancel your listing, it will be deleted from the platform, and travelers will not be able to see it anymore. If you want to find a new tenant, you will have to reactivate your listing.
